Coach Registration and Certification

Are you interested in coaching for the 2024 season?

There have been a couple of administrative changes for 2024, that will hopefully have things running more smoothly.

We will be using the RAMP registration system to keep track of all Coaching Certifications, Coaching Courses and Police Information Checks.

You need to have completed 5 tasks:

It is the same system that you use to register your player - same Username and Password.

You just click on Coach/Staff Registration.

You will be REQUIRED to enter in your NCCP# so have it ready.

Click here to register.

If you are a first-time coach in lacrosse, regardless of the age group you are coaching, you need to take Community Development.

If you are coaching U7-U13, you are required to have Community Development.

If you are coaching U15-U17, you are required to take Competitive Introduction.

If you need to take a coaching Clinic for the 2024 season, those dates and times are now posted.

The process to register for these clinics has also changed in 2024.

Clinic Registration Information

Ensure that you have an up-to-date Police Information Check.  They are valid for 3 years.

All the Police Checks from 2023 have been uploaded.

If you have an existing Police Check, that is not already there, please upload it.

The process has changed for starting a new application with the Calgary Police Service.  If you do not have a valid Police Check please email Kelly Mantei  We will send you a code directly from the Calgary EPIC system with details as to how to apply for your PIC-VS.  This is the only way for coaches to NOT have to pay for the Calgary PIC themselves.

*New applications will not be accepted without a letter from the Sabrecats.  You will need to print, sign and scan the letter below (along with 2 pieces of government-issued ID) to go with your application.

Your NCCP# tracks all your coaching courses and certifications across all sports.

So if you established a NCCP# for hockey (or another sport) coaching certification, you use the same number for lacrosse coaching certifications and tracking of courses.

You will be required to have completed one course along with your coaching certification

We would like all coaches to fill out for the purposes of our Coach Selection process.
