For parents interested in participating in our coaching mentorship program, here's what you can expect:

1. Inclusive Coaching Clinics: Parents will have the opportunity to attend on-floor coaching clinics and classroom discussions catered to specific coaching levels and experiences. Whether you're new to coaching or have some experience, there will be sessions tailored to your needs.

2. Comprehensive Guidance: You'll receive guidance on fundamental and individual skill development for specific age groups and experience levels. This includes skills like passing, catching, shooting, and more.

3. Strategic Direction: Learn about individual positional tactics, team strategy, and theory, including offence, defence, transition play, and goaltending.

4. Practice Management: Get assistance with practice planning, structure, timing, and drill focus. We'll help you create effective practices that enhance player development.

5. Season Planning Support: Receive support in planning for the season ahead, including setting goals, managing team dynamics, and maintaining focus throughout the season.

6. Ongoing Access: Even after practices, you'll have access to our coaching staff for off-floor guidance, questions, and discussions on various team and development topics.

SABRECATS COACH APPLICATIONS

We would like all coaches to fill out our Coach Selection process.

2024 Sabrecats Coach Application

We will be using the RAMP registration system to keep track of all coaching certifications and Police Information Checks.

• If you are planning to coach with us in 2024, please register as a coach in our RAMP registration system.  It is the same system that you use to register your player - same Username and Password.  You just click on Coach/Staff Registration.  You will be REQUIRED to enter your NCCP# so have it ready.  Your NCCP# tracks all your coaching courses and certifications across all sports.  So if you established an NCCP# for hockey (or another sport) coaching certification, you use the same number for lacrosse coaching certifications.

• Ensure that you have an up-to-date Police Check.  They are valid for 3 years. I uploaded all the Police Checks I had on record for 2023.  If you have an existing Police Check, that is not already there, please upload it.  If you require a new one, please follow the instructions below.
