Empowering Lacrosse Parents: Calgary District Lacrosse Association Introduces Respect in Sport Online Course
In a commitment to fostering a positive lacrosse experience, the Calgary District Lacrosse Association is excited to unveil a new online course tailored for lacrosse parents. This one-hour program is strategically designed to reinforce parents' role in their child's sports journey. The course focuses on instilling positive sports behaviours, empowering parents to ensure their children's safety, fostering effective communication, and enhancing the overall enjoyment and camaraderie of the lacrosse activity. The CDLA aims to the game while dedicated to continued progress and positive momentum.
Respect in Sport (RIS) Certification is a requirement of The Calgary District Lacrosse Association and its member clubs to register your child in lacrosse.
Need Certification?
Create your profile, add your child(ren) and select the correct club for each child
Complete the course. There will be a $12 fee for this course
You will need your RIS number to register in RAMP
Already certified? (from another sporting program, IE Hockey)
Go to import certification and complete the process
Select the club for your child(ren)
You will need your RIS number to register in RAMP

If you have a CURRENT (within 3 years) RIS parent number - please import your certification as noted above. Your certification must be imported to be valid.
Respect in Sport Parent must be held by one parent/guardian on the registration file. Other RIS courses(RIS- Activity Leader) can not be applied in place of RIS - Parent.
